Welcome to Highwood Day Nursery

Highwood Day Nursery is a well established, home from home private day nursery owned by Debbie and Jan Hughes. With two children of our own our philosophy is simple – “We only provide standards that we would expect for our own children, those being the best”.

Our aim is to provide affordable, quality driven childcare in a homely environment for children aged 0 – 5 years. To allow for continuity and progression our services extend to incorporate childcare for older children, up to the age of 7years, with our before and after school club, along with the holiday club, all of which are run on site.

With a family of our own, we understand the pressure of finding quality childcare that is reliable and gives careful consideration to children as individuals. Debbie is a qualified teacher with over 25 years experience of working with children. Vicki our manager is a well qualified level 3 childcare practitioner, who is inspiring, dedicated, with a love that extends to all children.
